Method of operation basic analysis
1. introduction
The basic analysis is the first step to get an overview of the whole Domino environment.
Only a few key data are required for this
2. configuration
on which Domino servers should be searched
which paths/databases are to be searched
what not to search for (exclusion list of paths and database names)
templates should also be included in the search
if there is already a basic idea for the utilization of the found data, these can be specified to already extend/prepare the basic analysis
Analyze design and if possible already the desired search for the target
Data for transfer to the stanoc Shift search
3. result
After the analysis is completed, you get a complete overview of all found applications.
4. further procedure
After running the basic analysis, you can pre-filter the first applications found (usually you will find more than you expected).
For this purpose, you have a simple possibility to keep the applications in view or remove them from view via the action "pay attention" and "do not pay attention".
If the applications are set to "ignore", all subsequent analyses will also ignore them - this quickly gives you a reduced overview.
From this point on, search patterns can be used to further analyze and evaluate applications!
